How do you handle dietary restrictions?

When a registration is completed, there is a question about dietary restrictions.  Although, not guaranteed, every effort will be made to accommodate dietary needs.

Will I know what we will be eating/drinking beforehand?

The tour menu is set by Sioux Falls Food Tours.  It represents a variety of tastes and experiences.  Although not every palette is the same, the tour is designed to give a varied tasting experience.

What is the minimum age required to join the tour?

The tour is designed for a more mature palette and there is not a separate child menu.  Theere is not a specific age. Anyone under 21 would be offered a non-alcoholic selection when alcoholic beverages are served.

Is there a dress code for any of the tours?

Although not a specific dress code, comfortable shoes should be worn for walking tours.  Tours run rain/shine/snow so dress for the weather. Causal clothing is appropriate.

What if we have someone in our group with Limited mobility?

Walking tours consist of 1 ½ – 2 miles of walking on city streets.  For an additional charge, transportation via vehicle can be arranged.  If that is too inhibitive, a private tour can be scheduled and designed with mobility issues in mind.

Do you just do the downtown area?

Please watch our website as Sioux Falls Food Tours continues to grow, additional tour options will be available.  Private tours can be designed for any area of Sioux Falls or surrounding areas.

Can I get a refund or reschedule my tickets?

In most cases, yes we will work with you  Please contact us as soon as you know you need to re-schedule.  We will do our best to accommodate you up to 48 hours before the tour.  If you request a refund, there is a 10% cancellation fee to cover administration and credit card costs.  There will be no refunds or rescheduling if notification is not received 48 hours prior to the start of the tour. 

Do you work with events or conventions?

Sioux Falls Food Tours is available for event planning for all types of events.  Tours can be designed for small to large groups. Stationary events can also be managed by Sioux Falls Food Tours to offer food/beverage tastings.
